The UP STRAW project (2017 – 2021) aimed at upscaling the use of straw in the public building sector in order to reduce Co2 emissions in construction.
It was funded by the Interreg programme North-West-Europe.
Partner organzations in Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain and The Netherlands worked together to promote the technical development of the building method, train building professionals and students and raise the public awareness. In each oft he countries a reference building has been constructed. Here you find the key results of the project that promoted the market development for this sustainable building method.
