To increase the market in straw for construction and insulation requires a large number of actions, including the development of production tools more adapted to market expectations.

Straw currently used in building comes from agricultural production that is not optimised for the standards of the construction sector.

This report presents the state of play of the production of straw bales in Europe, as well as the improvement of the production processes to better meet the expectations of the market.
