Map of European Straw Bale Houses

Written by esba

Based on a collection from all UP STRAW partners in Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands, UK, Antony Templier, Hugues Delcourt, Benedikt Kaesberg and Dennis Harms, Barbara Jones and Wouter Klijn submitted Excel-Files with about 1.400 straw bale house projects in Europe as a big start.

Other organisations like RCP (Spain), asbn (Austria) followed the example and with the help of a programmer (Matthias) Herbert (asbn, ESBA co-president) set up the map with links to all necessary informations. Here is the result: https://strawbuilding.eu/strawbale-houses-europe/

All houses are also categorized per country and technique, all descriptive texts are in English and the language from the origin of the straw bale house.
