Building garden elements with an environmental and civic vocation is an exciting subject that contributes to the territorial development of the social fabric. The development of this site reconciles several major objectives: to make it possible to “live together” while respecting the individual, to integrate the users, to mobilise them from the design phase and to define a sustainable and financially adapted project. These objectives make it possible to maintain a link between the urban dwellers and the environment, the creation of a place to live together as a community, and the creation of a symbolic and referential space for the neighbourhood and the city. The dry toilets, which comply with disabled standards, were made from straw bales that were carried during a participatory work camp. The earth coatings were also made by the gardeners.
