Certified Passivhaus, Loadbearing, detached two storey house in Suffolk designed by Good Architects with consultancy from Barbara Jones (Straw Works). Achieved an almost unbelievable 0.42 ach. The internal lime plaster by Arthur Philip was the airtight layer, no membranes were used on the straw walls. Self-build by owner with sub-contracted trades. Straw bale courses by Jakub Wihan of Straw Works, professional straw installation by the Straw Works build team including Barbara Jones and Rae Parkinson. Completed on time and budget in 2015
