The largest wooden and straw house built by the company since its beginnings. The wooden slab has beautiful dimensions (and it was built on stilts, by the self-builders!); the effect of grandeur is also given by the two courtyards along the south and west facades, which will offer beautiful terraces to the inhabitants. Bois et Paille also provided training for the assembly of the straw walls. The project is being carried out by a young couple of self-builders, who are responsible for most of the work. The project is progressing very well; after the wood frame was completed, the clay slurry was used to cover the straw walls, inside and outside the house. The slurry is the first layer of plaster to be applied… so it’s now time to apply the body layer.
