Claudius Kern organises workshops on yurt construction. Unlike the classic yurt, a round house is built from straw bales, and the “roof truss” is also lined with straw bales.

Claudius Kern veranstatltet Workshops zum Jurtenbau und hat bereits 2008 4 Strohballen-Jurten in Workshops errichtet. Anders als bei der klassischen Jurte wird hier ein Rundhaus aus Strohballen errichtet, auch der “Dachstuhl” wird mit Strohballen ausgefacht. Innen und außen wird mit Lehm verputzt und außen eine diffusionsoffene Zeltplane (Anm.: bitte keine diffusionsdichte LKW-Plane!) darüber gespannt. Auf jurten.heimat.eu werden die Workshops angeboten.
