Located in the heart of the Mehaigne valley in
the village of Moxhe, this hillside house
is unique in Belgium because it is the first
Precast wood framing modules house
filled with straw.
The project design is primarily focused on
energy benefits may appor-
ter bioclimatic field data and
environment. Then comes the design
and volume of the casing, and only then comes
the issue of alternative energy supply
(Solar, geothermal …).
Thus the terrain allows orient
ter the house so that the large bay
glass and all benefit levels pleine-
ment of solar gains while enjoying the
slope of the land to embed a portion of
building on the north side.
