Le Pôle Scolaire et Médical

The construction of the School and Medical Pole is a new building that brings together in one place the activities offered to young people: schooling, vocational training, care and rehabilitation. Built in a wooden frame and insulated with straw bales, the School and Medical Centre is structured around the porticoes of the central nave, stabilised by buttresses integrated into the walls of its two side wings. Entirely prefabricated in the workshop, the wood-straw walls were assembled in less than three weeks.
