Querbeet Lüneburg, 4storey straw bale house

Hello everyone, for a few weeks we have been working on the straw bale insulation for two apartment buildings in Lueneburg, northern Germany, designed by architect Dirk Scharmer (https://querbeet-lueneburg.de/).). For the month of September we are still looking for people to participate. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least physical fitness and interest in straw bale construction  Experience in construction, in the trade or in straw bale construction 
  • is an advantage  Work 
  • at least a whole week from Monday to Friday, preferably several weeks 
  • As a self-employed person, you can issue an invoice for your work 

CONDITIONS

We work between 7 and 10 hours a day, Monday to Friday  Hourly wage between €15.40 and €24.20 depending on qualification plus VAT 

Travel expenses are covered by the hourly wage  Accommodation is organized by us free of charge, food is NOT provided 

Working languages: German and English.  

You don’t have to bring your own tools; if you have one, you are welcome to bring your own tool box (meter, pencil, cutter, hammer, angle, drill,  bits, folding saw etc. / cordless impact wrench/cordless screwdriver if necessary).
