This project was born in Buzet, a small village on the edge
Upper Marlagne forest located in the commune
Floreffe. It combines the social side of a habitat grouped
energy performance and well-being
provides an “eco-house”.
The choice of the construction system concerns
technical “GREB” suitable for self-construction,
it can target the energy performance
high, without being passive standard
because the building is heated with a hearth (only
5 cubic meters of wood per year are used). She permits
also a certain ease of implementation and
So a rather rapid construction.
The project is to be effective with a view
Energy: the use of environmentally friendly materials

rather than industrial is preferred. Building
has good thermal inertia and therefore no
mechanical ventilation, and no central heating
are planned: energy is supplied in the form
photovoltaic and thermal panels. it
ensures a healthy indoor climate,
important for children as for adults.
Participating families also chose
