Straw house in Styria with straw façade

Diagonally planked timber frame construction, which is insulated on the outside with a straw façade. As in load-bearing straw bale construction, this is compressed with packing straps and additionally fastened to the timber construction with façade anchors.

Diagonal mit Rauschalung verplankter Holzständerbau, der außen mit einer vorgesetzten Strohfassade gedämmt wird. Diese wird wie im lasttragenden Strohballenbau mit Verpackungsbändern komprimiert und zusätzlich mit Fassadenankern an der Holzkonstruktion befestigt. Anschließend wird außen direkt auf das Stroh Kalkputz und innen auf die Konstruktion (und Schilfstukkatur) Lehmputz aufgebracht.
