An attempt has been made to realize a building that is as circular as possible. In addition to the sea containers and concrete foundation slab, mainly wood and straw were used. The insulation of the clubhouse consists of straw in the walls. The facade cladding consists of round shell parts of Douglas, Larch, Cypress and Oak. Shell parts are normally considered waste and therefore usually burned, which is a shame. The staircase is also special because of the use of native oak, Douglas and Marsh Cypress for the bars of the handrail. The Swamp Cypress comes from Amsterdam, supplied by Stichting Stadshout.
