This is a senior residence as an extension to an existing house that Enno Wiersma designed for his parents. In this extension there is a bedroom and a bathroom. The walls are constructed with a timber frame, with both the walls and the roof insulated with straw bales. The inside is finished with earth, the outside with a lime plaster. A earth brick heating wall has been placed on the inside in connection with moisture regulation and the plasterwork has been applied in 3 colors.
