A charming sloping lot in the heart of the town of Parthenay is home to a beautiful house Bois et Paille. Most of the work is self-construction, except for the frame, roofing and woodwork. Bois et Paille carved the structure in the workshop and the lifting began on Monday, July 21. The self-builders then recovered the bales of straw from the 2014 harvest to continue the work: laying the straw walls, and then in the meantime, a participatory work site for the external earth coatings, with the Botmobil association. Roofing tiles, mixed wood/aluminium joinery. A curtain wall is installed facing south, leaving a large part of the façade glazed.
