Bois et Paille has just lifted this new post and beam structure made of douglas wood, for insulation in bales of straw. The house covers a surface area of 80 m², with an open space to the north, which could eventually be converted into living rooms. The straw bales were installed by the self-builders. Part of the walls will be clad on the outside, hence the installation of battens. Beforehand, the post and beam structure of a garage had been raised by Bois et Paille. It too was insulated with straw and clad with exterior finishing. This small building is the first to be completed.
