The development of the attic required the installation of wall and roof insulation adapted to the existing bauge masonry, a floor finish on an existing land and to carry out modifications to the framework, punctual reinforcements, opening of a passage on a farm with raised entrance, creation of a staircase hopper, and electrical work. In order to avoid extra costs, the tar paper roof screen was not removed, which meant that an air gap had to be created in the thickness of the rafters, as the screen is not perspiring. The original soundness of the bauge masonry did not need to be repaired.
