Germany: Following the co-housing project ‘Speicherbogen’ (2,225 m2 of net floor space), architect Dirk Scharmer and his firm Deltagrün planned another residential block in Lüneburg, Germany: ‘Querbeet’ (3,500 m² of living space) is the latest multi-family dwelling insulated with straw bales.
