Expert consultant in natural building materials.

With over 10 years of experience in straw bale construction and renovation of old buildings with natural materials, STEP certified “Straw House Builder” by ASBN (Austrian Strawbale Network) – ESBA (European Strawbale Association). He has also undergone training in France in the application of lime and clay plasters, renovation and restoration of clay houses. He participates in international volunteer groups for straw bale construction.

Since 2012, he has been working in the field of developing eco-friendly construction with natural materials (stone, wood, clay, straw, reeds, sheep’s wool, hemp, cork), developing and implementing systems for improving the energy efficiency of buildings, improving practical skills for restoring old houses, achieving a healthy indoor climate, protecting the environment, and reducing the carbon footprint. He is developing the company Barbali project management in construction with natural materials.

He also works as a consultant for Nomad Cabins Ltd.,- www.nomadcabins.eu,  a company manufacturing Tiny houses near Sofia (photocredit: nomadcabins.eu).

Since 2017, he has been the representative of Ecococon for Bulgaria.

His mission is to convince people and guide them towards the right choice of materials for the construction and insulation of their future homes.

He is increasingly focusing on healthy indoor climate, energy efficiency, and the fight against climate change. He is currently working on several ideas for sustainable projects, prefabricated houses made of natural materials that can be built by the owners themselves quickly and on a budget.
