In the next few years carbon emissions will become one of the most important criteria for choosing building materials. Therefore, developing a solid CO2 calculation methodology for straw and bio-based materials is of crucial importance, knowing that the calculation hypothesis can radically change the figures. Until now, the CO2 captured by the used materials has not been taken into account, even if this contains a large part of their advantage.
