A single storey loadbearing straw community building on the allotments at Sandy Lane, Wakefield in 2006. Designed by Amazon Nails, self-built with training by Amazon Nails and contractor help from Dales Contracts. This wonderful building has rammed car tyre foundations, and a planted sedum roof, with lime plaster outside and clay plaster internally. It is a community classroom/kitchen for the allotment holders and also has a compost toilet.
