Straw bale construction on screw foundations – Strohballenbau auf Schraubfundamenten

Gisela Immler and Siegfried Scherrer wanted to fulfil their dream of ecological building and, together with the carpentry firm Staudenschreiner, planned a house whose walls were insulated with straw bales. The house is founded on 16 screw foundations.

DE: Gisela Immler und Siegfried Scherrer wollten sich den Traum vom ökologischen Bauen erfüllen und planten zusammen mit der Zimmerei Staudenschreiner ein Haus, dessen Wände mit Strohballen gedämmt wurden. Gegründet ist das Haus auf 16 Schraubfundamenten.
