Research project to develop building solutions made out of local rice straw bales. Partnership with ITECONS – Coimbra University Engineering Laboratory and Tamera Ecovillage. Characterization of rice straw under European Norms to obtain an ETA certification. See the video for 2 hours fire resistance, on panels made out of rice straw, wood structure and 1,5cms clay plaster on both sides.
