This building will be the club house of the riding school of the Kakelbont horse school. The tack room, office and workshop and above the steward’s house are the initiative of the Kakelbont Foundation.
For reasons of the environment, independence and costs, straw and earth have been used.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the wooden frame is pre-fab. The connections for the Douglas tribes were made on site. The entire construction, including the EPDM roof covering, was put up in 4 days. The roof and 1st floor floor are prefabricated on site. After the first straw building workshop, the further dismantling was carried out with self building, including additional workshops.
