Inspired by the Baley bungalow , this 6x4m straw bale self build extension (15m2 internally) near Burton Bradstock, Dorset was designed by Straw Works as a load bearing building but the client lacked confidence and chose to use a huge ridge beam with a supporting post underneath instead, making it an infill building.
